Credit Card Security
Your security is of great importance to us, we aim to provide the highest possible level of security in your transactions. In doing this we use security services which uses a 256-bit encrypted secure channel to register the transaction.
Payment Methods
You can pay by any of the following methods:
- Credit card over a secure server
- Credit card giving us your card details by phone
- Cheque by sending through post

All prices included VAT.
Minimum Order
There is no minimum order on internet orders, there is a minimum postage charge of £2.50 (including VAT, UK delivery address only). All prices are listed in pounds sterling.
Postage & Delivery Rates
We aim to despatch your items within 48 to 72 hours (excluding weekends) of receipt of your order although please allow longer during peak periods.
Parcels are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Service or Specialist Carrier.
The choice of delivery method is at our discretion and is based on their size, weight and value of your order.
Prices quoted to mainland UK only. Orders outside of this area will be charged at cost.

Collecting Orders in Person
You are more than welcome to visit our shop to collect your order.
If ordering from our online catalogue, add a note in the “any further information box” on checkout that you wish to collect and we will contact you as soon as your order is ready.
The postage charge will not, of course apply in this case.
We will hold customer collect orders for no more than a week once your order is complete.
If you are unable to collect within this time, please let us know as otherwise we do have to put the goods back out to ensure a fair service to other customers.
*Please note for all overseas orders, postage costs will vary. Overseas postage will be added to invoice when goods are packed.
If you are placing an order for delivery overseas and would like to know the cost of postage before we despatch your order please contact us for a quote.

Please Note:
If it has been 14 working days since you ordered Royal mail will now class your order as lost and we are able to send a replacement or give you a refund. Please contact us on 01524 401774 or contact us giving us your order number, name and address. We cannot refund or replace goods until 14 working days have passed from date of despatch.
Delivery Information
We send our items mostly by First Class Royal Mail Small Packet from the UK. For larger and heavier items we use carriers.
Large, heavy and Express Delivery orders will be sent by carrier and require the signature of someone at the delivery address.
Express Delivery
If you chose Express Delivery we will do our best to despatch your order on the same or following working day as long as we have received your order before 12 noon. Your parcel will then be despatched on a next day service which will be delivered at any time up to 5.30pm. We will contact you if there are any problems with your order.
Returns
We hope that you are satisfied with your order. If however you would like to return goods for exchange or refund of the cost of goods then please contact us first by telephone 01524 401774 or email sales@littleshopofhobbies.co.uk
All products are new and guaranteed free from fault.
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty goods, they may be returned for either a replacement or a full refund irrespective of the condition of the parcel packaging but subject to the product not having been abused or misused in any way.
This will be determined by us or our suppliers depending on the item in question and our suppliers’ policy with regard to faulty goods.
We will refund the cost of returning faulty goods after they have been returned to us and the fault being verified either by ourselves or our suppliers.
Should any item be unsuitable then we will accept their return for a full refund of the value of the goods or a credit if they are returned carriage paid to us within 7 postal days. This period commences on the day after you receive the goods.
Returned goods are subject to being received by us in their original unused condition.
No refund of postage will be made for unsuitable goods being returned.
In the case of goods which are packed in sealed packaging then these goods will only be accepted for a return if the packaging in unbroken and undamaged. Please include your delivery number and your name and address with all returns.
Parcels are sent from us in perfect condition and we are unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit.
All our products are delivered in either a hard backed envelope or a strong postal box.
If your parcel appears damaged on arrival, please sign the delivery note “Parcel Damaged and Contents unchecked” and retain a copy of the delivery note.
Any claims for damage must be made to the carrier responsible.
Once a return has been agreed, your money will be refunded within 30 days if required, or a credit will be added to your records which will be applied to your next order, which ever suits you best.
Returned goods under the value of £5 will be automatically credited to your account or a cash refund given.
We do not refund cards or issue cheques with a value of under £5.
Colour Swatches
We have tried to make colours on this website as near as possible to actual colours of the product mostly by taking photographs of the actual product. However we cannot guarantee this will be an exact colour match. The appearance of the colour swatches will vary depending on your screen settings and resolution of your monitor. Hopefully this website gives you an approximation of the colours available, however if an exact colour matching is necessary please use actual samples of the materials.
